Question by Maria: How do I bring up the topic of sex with my 20-year-old boyfriend?

I'm a 17-year-old girl, and I just started dating a 20-year-old guy in university. This is my first real boyfriend. He's a really nice and caring guy, and really hot too. I'm just worried that he's going to start pressuring me to have sex with him, especially because he's in university and everything. We haven't really talked about this yet. I want to save sex for marriage. What should I do?

Wait until he brings it up, then tell him how you feel. If he loves you he'll respect your choice.

On second thought, Mark has a good point. If you really think it might be a problem, it's better to tell him soon. Just be completely honest about how you feel and why. If he cares about you, he'll understand. If he doesn't, he's no loss.
